Wren's Chapel is the wedding dream come true for many brides and couples.
It is the epitome of the traditional Country Chapel, but with its grade I listing and approaching a millennium of heritage, it is a rare classic. It has a wonderful ambiance, excellent acoustics and numerous unique features, including some of the oldest stained glass in the country, the figurine of the Prioress Isabella Shakespeare, William’s Aunt, the tomb of Sir Christopher Wren’s wife, with commemorative plaques for five generations of Christopher Wren’s, plus intricate stonework and statues.
Bounded by yew hedge and entered via the covered lych gate, it enjoys a beautiful setting. Allow time for photos, as come sunshine or showers, the scenes and opportunities are excellent.
The original seating configuration and carved rood screen make it ideal for different sizes of weddings, whether it’s a small group, 100 or 200 attendees.
