Crufts – 8th – 11th March
Crufts is renowned around the world for being the top best when it comes to dog breeds and shows. You can expect to see over 22,000 dogs compete for the world-famous title of Crufts Best in Show Champion and there will be hundreds of trade stands for you to explore and purchase from.
Each day will be dedicated to a differed breed; Working and Pastoral breeds will feature first, then Terrier and Hound breeds, followed by Toy and Utility breeds before finally introducing Gundog breeds on the last day. Tickets start from £15 and under 8s go free.
Craft Show – 15th – 18th March
The Creative Craft Show will be heaven on earth for fans of knitting, cross stitch, paper crafting, jewellery, dressmaking and stitching. Expect to find the latest supplies and cutting-edge ideas being demonstrated as you take in the event. Whatever your crafting passion, you can learn some top tips and further your skills at the Craft Show. There will even be advice from industry experts. Tickets are free for under 16s with an adult, or £12 – £25 for one day or three-day entry.
MCM – 17th – 18th March
MCM Birmingham Comic Con is set to be full of famous faces from your favourite franchises! Explore the Comic Village and meet your favourite artists and writers – you could even discover your next must-read. Get hands-on with the newest games, put a question to on-stage panels and have your camera ready for the Cosplay Masquerade. It’s full on and full of fun – you can even buy rare memorabilia. Tickets cost £11 for advance entry or £30 for priority weekend.
Antiques For Everyone Fair – 5th – 8th April
Learn, buy and discover at The Antiques For Everyone Spring Fair. The largest vetted art, antiques and interiors fair outside of London, attendees will be able to interact with over 160 specialist dealers and potentially buy over 30,000 pieces. From furniture, ceramics, jewellery and paintings, to sculptures, bronzes and much more, whatever your collection is lacking you are sure to find what you are looking for.
In addition to the stands you will be able to listen to expert talks from BBC’s Antiques Roadshow specialists. Tickets are free for under 16s and start at £12 advanced for adults.
Insomnia Gaming Festival – 30th March – 2nd April
The UK’s biggest gaming festival, Insomnia returns to the NEC. Bursting with daily tournaments, live shows, a marketplace and several zones, you’ll never be short of things to do. Head to the Creator Zone to meet your favourite YouTubers, the VR Zone will have the latest equipment and games for you to try and the Retro Zone will allow you to relive the glory days gaming. From cosplay to workshops, there’s a reason why this is the best gaming festival in the UK. Tickets cost £25 – £99.
Makers Central – 5th – 6th May
Makers Central is a brand-new event that will bring together hobbyists and artists from around the world. Whatever craft or invention you love most, this is the place where you can share your passions and ideas. Expect to meet your favourite Makers and YouTube stars, learn from demonstrations, get hands-on with the latest techniques and pop some tools and equipment into your shopping bag. Under 12s go free and tickets start from £20 with family tickets available on the door.
This Morning Live – 17th – 20th May
This Morning Live is an event for all the family. Fans of the long-running show can watch live catwalk shows, sample food and drink and discover well-known brands with a range of home and beauty wares on sale. You’ll feel like you’ve stepped into your television set – you might even spot members of the This Morning family! It’s the ultimate lifestyle event you won’t want to miss. Tickets start at £19.
